Day 3: We’re waiting for you!
The world’s biggest cycling race is heading to Wales! On Sunday 4 July 2027, the third and final stage of the Tour de France Grand Départ will take riders on a spectacular 223km journey from Welshpool to Cardiff.
As a proudly Welsh company, we at Pedal Cover couldn’t be more excited to see the world’s best cyclists racing on our home roads!

And it won’t be an easy ride. The route features eight categorised climbs, with six packed into the final 80km as the peloton battles through the South Wales Valleys.
The famous Rhigos and Caerphilly mountain climbs could prove decisive before a thrilling finish in the Welsh capital, where the final yellow jersey of the British Grand Départ will be awarded.
