Pedalcover saves time and money as it combines it all under one policy
Pedalcover has been announced as the official insurance provider of the national governing body for triathlon in Wales.
The home insurance provider for triathletes has signed a new deal with Welsh Triathlon giving members an exclusive discount on their insurance cover to ensure they have adequate protection when competing at home and abroad.
The sponsorship arrangement will see Pedalcover support Welsh Triathlon at a number of events in 2015 including its National Championships, helping to increase membership and ploughing money back into grassroots development of the sport.
Pedalcover Insurance was launched in 2014 by entrepreneur Darren Thomas combining years of insurance industry experience and insight into the sport.
Aimed specifically at triathletes and cyclists and backed by one of the UK’s largest insurance providers, Pedalcover combines all bikes and accessories under a single home insurance policy.

“If you’re a keen triathlete chances are you’ll have more than one bike, on top of wetsuits and other accessories. When you come to insure all of this equipment, you would normally have to take out separate home and bike insurance, because the cover provided within a standard home insurance policy would not give you enough cover for your bike. You would also have to specify all of the bikes that you have, pushing the cost of the insurance premium up and often there is a limit placed on the value of your bike.
