Pedalcover provides cover during training, leisure and competition time, at home and abroad.
Vicky Holland has been announced as the latest ambassador for Pedalcover Insurance ahead of the ITU World Triathlon series leg in London.
Holland, who claimed her first World Triathlon Series win in Cape Town last month, joins the Pedalcover team as it ramps up its UK profile.
The Gloucester-born triathlete, who is a member of the British Triathlon squad based in Leeds, is the latest GB athlete to support the insurance brand.
She joins fellow GB athletes David Bishop, Tom Bishop, Adam Bowden, Catherine Jameson, Heather Sellars, Lois Rosindale, Matt Dewis and Morgan Davis, who all signed up to be Pedalcover ambassadors earlier this year.
Backed by one of the UK’s largest insurance providers, Pedalcover is a unique bike and home insurance that combines all bikes and accessories under a single policy.
Replacing the need to take out separate bike insurance, or specify multiple bikes on a home insurance policy, Pedalcover provides cover during training, leisure and competition time, at home and abroad.
Founder Darren Thomas, a former international pro-am cyclist, said: “We’re delighted to add Vicky to our growing list of ambassadors. She is having a great season and we were thrilled when she took her first World Triathlon Series title in Cape Town. She’s got a big race coming up this weekend in London and we’re all behind her. We wish her every success for the rest of the season.”
On joining team Pedalcover, Vicky said: “I’ve been hearing great things about Pedalcover for a few months now, so when Helen approached me about coming on board as an ambassador I jumped at the chance.
“The fact that Pedalcover provides cover for multiple bikes and at triathlon competitions around the world, will be of massive value to professional, age-group and amateur triathletes. It really is one of the most competitive and comprehensive insurance products for triathletes and cyclists out there.
“The protection Pedalcover provides ensures that you can continue to compete with minimum stress and disruption. It provides total peace of mind, so we can focus on training hard.”
